The Lost Well orchard was primarily established in 2021, with 6 young heirloom trees sourced from the Apple Core Project.

We have since expanded & diversified our collection, and are currently growing another 30 semi-dwarfing and cold/drought-hardy rootstock, for grafting in 2027 and beyond. Our long term goal is to develop the program into productive orchard, with annual small batch cider pressing.

We are primarily interested in rare, heirloom varieties, as well as historical apple varieties local to NE Wyoming and the surrounding geography. Are you in the area and have an old tree with a good story? Please reach out to us at lostwellwy@gmail.com!
